Under Bangkok Skies

A Sprawling Urban Oasis

‘Mesa llena corazon contento’
A Full table, a happy heart

Designed in collaboration with Chiang Mai-based Blank Studio, the goal was to sculpt the entire atrium space of Groove Centralworld in to a sprawling urban oasis.

Located on Floor 1 of Groove at CentralWorld, Al Fresco occupies the entire open-plan centre of the newly renovated zone in the world’s 9th largest mall and arguably Thailand’s most iconic. Positioned directly beneath a large skylight, it is the only restaurant set within the central atrium. While fully indoor and air-conditioned, the space is designed to feel like true al fresco dining. Open, light-filled, and comfortable without the Bangkok heat.

A table worth gathering around.
